MMed Radiology trainees in Kenya connect to hear a live virtual lecture at UCSF
The residents of Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Medicine, in December 2015, began participating in RISE (Radiology International Student Education), a collaborative platform allowing the radiology residents to tune in during live lectures at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and other participating institutions in the USA. The platform also provides access to pre-recorded teaching material for self-paced learning in radiology. The brain-child of Dr. Bhavya Rehani, MD (UCSF), this technological platform is geared towards trying to address the unmet need in radiology subspecialty training in many parts of the world.
