Student Research

Research is an integral component of the Masters in Medicine programs and aspires to inculcate an inquisitive spirit in the resident that leads to creation of new knowledge through their area of research.

The residents dissertation theses must be completed and accepted by the Departmental board of examiners by the end of 3rd year of study before they are allowed to proceed to the fourth (final) year and is a requirement for graduation with the Master of Medicine degrees. The residents get mentorship from faculty from an early stage in deriving a topic in an area of scientific interest relevant to the field of Radiology/Radiation Oncology. Supervisors provide continued guidance as the residents progress through the various stages of their dissertation.
